Terms of Service

You get an account and an API to send email and SMS. You pay for what you use, follow the Acceptable Use Policy and South African messaging law, and keep your keys safe. We keep the service running, protect your data as described in the Privacy Policy and DPA, and can suspend accounts that put other customers at risk.
Acceptable Use Policy

Send messages people asked for, identify yourself honestly, honour opt-outs, and do not use the Service for anything illegal, deceptive or harmful. We enforce this automatically where we can and by suspension where we must.
Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to run your account and bill you. Recipient data that you send through the API is processed on your instructions as an operator under POPIA, encrypted at rest, and message bodies are redacted after 30 days. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal information.
Data Processing Agreement
Effective 22 September 2026
This agreement applies automatically to every customer and sets out how Sendbaze, as your operator under POPIA, processes the personal information you send through the Service. It covers instructions, security, sub-operators, breach notification, assistance and deletion.

Report abuse: messages sent through Sendbaze that break the Acceptable Use Policy can be reported to abuse@sendbaze.com. Include headers or the SMS sender and time. We respond within two business days.
